Dash vs. Disick

Does anyone ever wonder:
a.) who the f*#k is Scott Disick, anyway?
b.) what does he do for a living, besides piss off the Kardashian girls?
c.) how is he any different from all the other dickwads who cheat on their girlfriends and then get taken back with open arms when his main woman gets knocked up?
d.) does this poor guy not have any sisters? Because if it was my brother who was getting painted as this horrible, villainous, cheating monster on national television, you bet your sweet ass I’d be running to defend him. Especially because I think Khloe is bigger than Scott. And that? Is probably not so fair, Khlo.

Okay, maybe it’s just me.

I know I will be inviting my sister-in-law over for a girls night, complete with popcorn and wine, to listen to Kris get bitched at by Kim, see Bruce’s new face, and see how long it takes before someone on the show starts hating on Lamar Odom.

Khloe & Lamar Take Los Angeles

I’m sooo looking forward to the Khloe & Lamar wedding this coming weekend…you can’t even imagine. I’ve been waiting to see all their wedding glitz & glamour for weeks now, since I first heard about their shotgun wedding last month. I’m not hating. At this point in my life, if I found a really awesome guy who wanted to marry me and make a life with me, I might actually consider it. Hey, what the hell, life’s short, might as well give it a go. If Khloe and Lamar are crazy enough to do it, I say, go for it.

Hey, if it doesn’t work out, I hope you saved the top layer of your fancy wedding cake. You can invite me over, Khloe, and I’ll counsel you about heartbreak while stuffing my face with the Oreo cookie cake I hear you had created for you. I’ll even bring the tequila. And if it doesn't really pan out for you, hell, I'm not much of a Lakers' fan, anyway. Thank JESUS you didn't go marry a Phoenix Sun, like Amare. Then, I'd have to side with my honey Stoudy, if anything, out of loyalty.

Until we know how things work out for you & Mr. Odom, I’ll wait in anticipation of seeing you tie the knot on E! with 40 million other Americans.

The Bonds of Sisterhood

There's something about sisters. My Mom has a younger sister, and my Auntie Gloria seriously might as well be like a sister to her. Even though they all may have disagreements from time to time, they're there for each other at the drop of a hat. My parents didn't have any other daughters except for me, but my Aunt Pat (my Mom's sister) has 3 daughters, and they are just as much my sisters as biological sisters could be. In fact, we are closer than most sisters who are connected through DNA.

April and I, in particular, grew up being really close, just like sisters. I always needed her. I guess I needed that reassurance, the advice that comes from having a big sister. Even though we may not have always seen eye to eye, we love each other and are there for each other when it counts. And one thing that always bonds us together is shopping, and fashion. Priscilla, our baby, is 19 and a college freshman, and she is a little style junkie, as well. When we hit the stores, the MAC counters, or the salon, everybody knows us, and we're a familiar fixture on the fashion front.

So it's no wonder that I love, love, love Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. These shows always remind me of my 'sisters' and they are always dressed in clothing that mirrors the personal style of my sisters and I.

Not to mention, they're crazy biotches, just like we are.

Sisters may argue, or fight, or bicker, and they may not always agree. But sisters also heal, comfort, and one thing they never disagree about is that looking fab is not an option.
